Art in the Heart of Lexington

Welcome to Studio 112!

Formerly known as Artist at Work Studios, Studio 112 is the new name of our creative collective in downtown Lexington, South Carolina. If you are still signed up on our former blog at Artist At Work, please transfer your info onto this site so you can continue to be updated on upcoming events.

Lexington Fall Art Crawl

Studio 112 is excited to announce that we will participate in  the first annual LEXINGTON FALL ART CRAWL.  Studio 112 along with M Gallery and Cafe Chartier host this event on November 11, 2011.  The time of the event is from 6:00-9:00 pm.

Local artists from the Lexington and Columbia area will display artwork at these locations, and be available to discuss their artwork on display.   Get a jump-start on your holiday shopping by purchasing artwork for that special person on your holiday gift list.

We also are thrilled to announce Cafe Chartier will prepare tasty delights at all three  locations.  Please mark your calendars for the event, and check back soon for more details to follow.

Studio 112 Welcomes New Artists!

Studio 112 welcomes 3 new artists to our creative group: Brandy Smoak (photographer), Tisha Gary Ward (contemporary painter) and Chris McDaniel (painter of pet portraits). We’re excited to have new creative blood on the hallway and look forward to seeing the fruits of their labor! Hopefully, we’ll have photos soon of the artists and their work to display on this site.

Columbia Open Studios … Success!

Visitors to Studio 112

Thanks to all who attended the Columbia Open Studios event! Studio 112 artists had a great time visiting with guests and meeting other area artists! With the Lexington Farmer’s Market kicking off it’s first day in business directly adjacent to Studio 112, it proved to be an eventful weekend.
